From the bald eagle to stars and stripes, explore ten original laser-design concepts celebrating American craftsmanship, national holidays, hometowns and those who serve.
Independent original designs, not official U.S. government symbols. Advanced cut-and-assemble templates require material-specific and machine-specific validation.
Browse projects for holidays, meaningful milestones, and the little moments in between.
Learn placement, readable lettering and framing.
Verify outlines, holes, material suitability and operation order.
Cut two or three separate components, inspect and assemble after machining.

Download milestone collection ↓Ten original designs including four advanced three-piece assemblies inspired by American icons and the woodwork eagle.
Download American Heritage ↓Collections are software-generated templates, not machine-tested manufacturing files. Check your material, equipment, geometry and settings before making any item.
Change the lettering, preview the layout, and export genuine SVG geometry — not a picture of a design.
Verify imported size, all layers, material suitability, focus, framing, ventilation, and machine-specific settings before running a laser.
Practical planning tools for real projects. They calculate dimensions and organize your own test observations — never prescribe machine settings.
See whether the currently selected design fits inside your known usable work area, including a margin.
This is a geometry-only check. Framing, origin, travel limits and laser head clearances still need manual verification.
Record settings and outcomes after your own tests. Entries stay in this browser unless you export them.
Saved only in this browser (local storage). Export a CSV backup before clearing browser data. Never copy another machine's settings without testing.
Use this checklist at the machine. It does not replace manufacturer training.
Each project follows the same safe, repeatable workflow. Use these resources before your first cut or engraving.
Black strokes are intended for engraving lines. Red paths are optional cut outlines. Both arrive without assigned laser speed or power.
Official import documentation ↗Determine a safe material and make a small machine-specific test. Use the Material Test tool rather than copying settings from another laser.
LightBurn Material Test ↗Inspect the job in Preview, set output states and correct operation types, then frame the work. Keep your laser attended for the entire job.
LightBurn Preview ↗Digital artwork is not a certification that a material, laser, or setup is safe. Confirm manufacturer guidance for your specific machine and the exact material.
No. The studio runs in your browser. Personalization happens locally; it does not send names to a server.
No universal machine compatibility can be guaranteed. SVG is supported by LightBurn, but you must verify import, scale, layer settings, material compatibility, and machine limits. Cut mode is only for suitable cutting systems and approved materials.
Black is the engraved artwork, constructed entirely as single-line vector paths; red is an optional cutting perimeter. When imported, assign operations and set all laser parameters based on your own machine and material tests.
For portability, the design studio converts lettering into vector paths. Edit it here and export again. This avoids missing-font problems during SVG import.
These project designs are original material supplied with the companion. Personal use and sales of physical items you make are permitted under the included license. Do not resell, redistribute, or upload the digital design files as standalone assets.
